About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to learn everything I can from each moment in my life.

ABOUT ME

I am a person who loves to listen to myself and others, who isn't afraid to feel this human experience, and to work through the struggles in my life.
I am a graduate of the Sustainable Agriculture and Food Production program at Green Mtn. College.

PHILOSOPHY

Breath in, breath out; that's all you really have to do (:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once stayed with a friend Thomas on his family's farm, for about two weeks. It was so fun to witness the family life on the farm, taste the goat's milk, play with the llamas, and just get to be in someone else's lifestyle, if only for a little while. I was sad to leave his house, as I felt like I was part of the family. I enjoyed the learning experience of seeing how other people live, and share discussions with them, of all things from favorite books to childhood memories. I hope that through CouchSurfing, I can bring more of these experiences into my life, and benefit others' lives' also.

Interests

I love to play guitar and banjo. I love to be outdoors, be active and alive.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, R.L. Burnside, Iron and Wine

Movies: Another Earth, Waking Life, I Origins, Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel (so basically anything by Richard Linklater, Mike Cahill, or Wes Anderson). Also, The Lunchbox was a damn good film.

Books: Old Path White Clouds, Red Earth and Pouring Rain, Cutting Through Spiritual Materialism, The Voice of Knowledge, Doctor Zhivago

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learned to drive a motorcycle in Ladakh!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know fairly well how to play guitar, though that is hard to teach in a short period of time. I can help out around the house with any maintenance type of things.

I would also love to learn how to change a car's oil, and car and/or motorbike mechanics in general.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Music, Food, Raucous Laughter, Help around the house

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, China, Germany, Mexico, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

India, Nepal, United States
