About Me

Originally from Norway, I moved to Warsaw to live and work, experiencing life in another country. I love to play chess and all sorts of games, play the piano, and grab a beer now and then:) I have travelled all over Europe, lived a bit in California, and been to China twice. Love to meet and talk to people from all walks of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Love to meet people, and currently I have some space in my apartment in case anybody needs. It would also be fun to stay over at someone else in case I'm travelling.

Interests

As previously mentioned i can get down to doing most things. What i am most interested in is probably (listening to) music, history, politics and other sorts of knowledge, experiencing local culture and meeting new people. I do also love me some computer gaming from time to time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not going to say the cliche thing that i "listen to ALL music!" but i try to stay open to most genres. Currently i am listening mostly to jazz and different electronic acts, but i have previously listened to a lot of rock and hip-hop.

I am not the most avid movie watcher, but i do like to watch good, quality movies from time to time. I have also recently started enjoying nature movies more.

I used to read a bit, but in recent years i have come to not read as much fiction. The one book i remember i loved as a kid was Robinson Crusoe, but the most recent books i have read have been about philosophy, politics or other prose.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cant think of one specific crazy thing i have done, but i like to think that i have done a lot of lesser amazing things. I have made friends with all kinds of different people from vastly different environments. If i have to pick one thing, i guess this one time i was up for more than 48 hours, which is something i guess.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am willing to teach whatever i can, provided you return the favor. I love discussing and debating almost any topic. Even though i don't have any major talents, i like to think that i know at least something about most things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Whatever i have. I can help around with most things, whether it's making food, help cleaning or waking up early to make coffee (i don't know how likely that last one will be :) )
