ABOUT ME

I'm laidback. I grew up in Panama City Beach and I'm currently attending law school in the Tampa Bay area.

I spend much of my time hanging out at the beach, checking out concerts and, of course, traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a spur of the moment kind of guy. There have been many occasions where people will invite me to travel hundreds of miles in a blink of an eye. My most common response is, "could be good." Then we go.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined the CS community after reading the Four-Hour Workweek. After I surf a couple times and have good experiences under my belt, I'd like to open up my home for people to visit. It's all about paying it forward. Speaking of forward, I'll be moving to Honolulu in 2017.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used CS for the first time in Feb. 2013. My host, Jennifer, was a very gracious inaugural host by inviting me into her home for a couple days during my trip to San Francisco.

I discovered my favorite beer, Budvar in Prague; spent Christmas with my best friend in Germany and experienced Sylvester and (interestingly enough) Ethiopian food; traveled to Grand Cayman and Cozumel via cruise ship; flew to Las Vegas several times to get a small taste of the world of food and culture; experienced many live performances from Elton John to Kid Rock to Lynyrd Skynyrd to Jimmy Buffett, etc.

I know a lot about advertising, marketing and public relations. I was a spokesperson for the state police in Florida where I provided media interviews during high-profile criminal investigations (child abductions, murders, officer-involved shootings). Some of these cases were fascinating.
