ABOUT ME

I love travelling! Like most people on this website;)I think it opens your mind and helps you see life from a whole new persepective.
Hobbies include hiking, dancing, reading, teaching.

I'm a TCK (ha ha, to anyone that knows what that means) so it's in my blood. My Dad is German and my Mom is Polish-American. Grew up in Africa, Germany, Indonesia, Singapore and the States. Graduated from PSU in the states in 2006 (some of the best four years of my life!) may go back soon for a masters or two. I miss the student life sometimes. Or maybe I will figure out a way to study in Germany.

I think it's neat to learn about different cultures from a local's point of view. Had a fantabulous experience couch surfing in Rome and would like a chance to contribute back to the community. Sort of the "Pay It Forward" idea. Whoever came up with this website is a genius!

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others as you would like to be treated.
Be kind, because this life is a giant classroom and everything I do just comes back to me in one way or another.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great! I stayed with a couple in Rome with my two friends. They were so nice and even gave us a tour of Rome at night. Offered to make us breakfast and shared some amazing Italian wine and food with us.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've see many amazing things. Most recently watching the sunset over the Spanish steps and taking pictures of our shadows on the wall. I used to love going to the beach in Jersey after work, lying out and listening to the waves crash. I miss the beach here, but the mountains are cool. So is the city- it is most beautiful at night with the skyline.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like people who are caring and interesting. I like many different types of people. I think almost everyone does because different people bring out different sides of who we are. My closest friends are outgoing, funny and kind of crazy in their own way but that's what makes it fun.
