Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, I grew up exploring the lush forests and beautiful shores of the Pacific Northwest. I love any excuse to experience the outdoors, whether through hiking, scuba diving/snorkeling, kayaking/boating of any kind, you name it! I have a passion for marine life, a love I pursued through college where I studied marine sciences. Marine research allowed me to spend a semester abroad in Turks and Caicos and a summer on Oahu, two experiences which left me aching to see more of the world.

I’m now embarking on an 8-month solo-journey through Southeast Asia and Central America where I hope to experience new sights, tastes and cultures, and connect with others along the way! I'm a firm believer that often the best way to experience new places is through the eyes of someone who calls it home.
