Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Together with my fiancée i host here in Cologne, sometimes i meet with other surfers and hosts. I like the concept of hospitality and meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Best couchsurfing experience ever was when no one even thought about the internet or this community. My mother and i were wandering through London looking touristy with our backpacks when a woman asked us what we were doing in this pretty quite quarter. Well, we were lost on our way to the youth hostel, so she invited us to stay overnight. It was a very heartwarming experience. Next day she droves us into the inner city in a very tiny car, her harp next to me on the backseat. Thats how we met the harpist of the london symphony orchestra.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Participated in the german premiere of a play written by a jewish playwright during his canadian exile in WWII, covering the holocaust. Our troupe was good enough to get invited to redo it in one of the most acclaimed theatres in Germany.
