I'm Austrian but living in Paris since almost eight years now. I started travelling by my own when I was seventeen. With one of my best friends we travelled Europe by Inter-Rail. It was a huge adventure and a great experience. Since then my wanderlust never stopped. I like to get to know new people and foreign cultures. I'm interested in foreign languages, I studied French and Russian in my home country. And I'm an easy going person!

This time I'm travelling with my boyfriend Romaric (he is French) for eight weeks (yes, finally a really big trip). We planned to go to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first couchsurfing experiences were in Russia with one of my best friends and it was really great. We got to know very nice people who opened their homes and hearts for us and showed us their cities. So I decided to do couchsurfing by my own in Canada and the people who were hosting me made my trip to Canada a wonderful experience.
For me Couchsurfing is the best way to really discover a country and a society off the beaten tracks.
