ABOUT ME

I have an affinity for the mountains, which is what drew me to Boulder. I moved into the mountains just outside of Boulder six years ago. I have felt more at home here in Nederland than I have anywhere else. The outdoors is what I am most passionate about, any excuse to play outside is good with me be it hiking, snowboarding, longboarding, yoga, or slacklining. Concerts and music festivals play a pretty important role in my life, they are what consume my time and money when getting outside isn't. The beautiful game has a special place in my heart, I have been involved with soccer for most of my life. I am an Aquarius if that matters.

I want to provide a place to stay if people are looking for one or at least a good time if they are in the area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until I moved to Boulder I was mostly surfing and didn't get the opportunity to host too much. Upon moving to Boulder I have found a roommate via cs, and hosted numerous people.

Interests

I am interested in music, books, soccer, any kind of board sport, fooseball, slackline, hackey sack, exploring the outdoors, concerts, other cultures and I'm open to suggestions.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, mostly bluegrass. The Grateful Dead, Garcia Grisman, Infamous string dusters, Head for the Hills, Larry Keel, Umphrey's McGee, String Cheese, Yonder Mountain String band, New Mastersounds, Robert Randolf and the Family band, Keller Williams, Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon, Greensky Bluegrass, John Hartford, Del McCory, Galactic, John Butler Trio. Some of my favorite books are Be Here Now, The Doors of Perception, Big Surr, Steal This Book, How Soccer Explains the World. Any book that is recommended to me I will take a look at

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a three week camping and music festival journey to Oregon. On day one my car and all of my belongings were stolen, I made the best of the trip and thanks to the outreach of others had an absolutely wonderful time. My car was recovered on the last day of my trip.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to talk about my experience with brewing, growing things, snowboarding, hiking in the area, or slacklining. I am a master in none, but happy to share what I know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a cozy house in the mountains with more or less endless amounts of homebrews, a knowledge about the local area, extra snow gear, and a love for bluegrass.
