PHILOSOPHY

I am currently trying to find a possible solution to this well-known philosophical dilemma concerning literature and life:
"Literature is mostly about having sex and not much about having children. Life is the other way round" (as David Lodge puts it).
Is there such a solution, actually? Suggestions welcome.

I love literature, music, science,and philosophy, in this order, I guess. Always interested in exchanging views about international, and especially European, politics.
Seriously addicted to tennis and rather fond of chess.
Also I have been playing guitar for years, with uncertain results.
Last but not least, I am a cat person if there is any: I just adore those fluffy little gods.
