我做过的一件不可思议的事情

volunteered in new orleans following hurricane katrina. i definately have mixture of feelings surrounding the entire experience... saw the best and worst sides of people. served a woman her first hot meal in 2 weeks. when she saw the steam coming off her pasta she began to cry. she pulled me close and kissed my face.

i watched a man run off with my bike while i was fixing a flat on the side of the road. the bike he took didnt even have a front wheel... he was in 'survival mode' and at that point apparently needed my bike more than i did. i didnt chase him.
