Hey. I am a traveler just like you except, well, now I´m living and working here. I love meeting new people and thought this would be a great way to share what I have learned and where I am in this beauitiful land of colors (Guatemalan culture). So come on out, you have a place to stay!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a volunteer working with three schools located within the municipality of Chicaman. I am currently working on a project with my indigenous community where we are going to be building an eco-escuela de reciclaje (a school out of recycled bottles, wood, and cement). The communities that surround the area where I live are amazing, and I am excited to introduce you to some incredible people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Too many to relay here. In fact, last night I slept on my friends colchone (futonish thing, if you will) after passing by his town for the first time. Meetings that are far away can really beat down your day, so I try to see people on the way back to my long lost town.

Interests

Living, laughing, loving. Going after the things and opportunities that scare me to death. Those are the ones you learn the most about yourself while experiencing.
