ABOUT ME

I´m traveling Canada for a year, but I hope I can stay longer. I finally got rid of all the stress back home in germany, and love and enjoy my life just like it is.I love to laugh, often about myself.I´m filled with enthusiasm and optimism.My hair is pretty long, but I never leave them in the shower.Usually I´m pretty quiet, but not shy at all, outgoing, and once I´m in the mood, I know how to party and sing the night away.Meeting new people is one of the best things in life, and meeting more is one of my goals for the close future.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just stayed at my first couch ever, in Halifax to be exact. All the other couches will have a hard act to follow, because this place and especially the people were more than special!!!

Not a lot myself!But so far I love it, and I will hopefully find a lot more couches to surf at!

I wanna see the world! Traveling is not only my hobby, but my life right now.Love being outside, hiking the fields and forests, swimming the seas and oceans,biking anywhere but the ocean, sing sing sing the day and night away,going for coffee, or just pick one up and keep walking,reading anything anywhere, taking pictures, either with my camera or in my head,and I love to cook. Which is even better, doing it with someone else together.

Musica, film e libri

Music?Without it, life would be a mistake.I used to sing opera for many years, still sing rock and pop. My preference is simple: there´s good stuff in every style of music!Movies?My life itself is a soap opera...Books?Thrillers and biographies, historical books and romances, cookbooks and the national geographic... I love the written word.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Watched the sunrise in New Zealand and the sunset in Australia.Walked on three different continents on one single day.Touched olive trees in Tuscany and traveled the canals of Amsterdam in a houseboat.Saw the mountains in Austria and Switzerland.The Kornati in croatia, and the mossy rainforest on Haida Gwaii.Northern lights in the Yukon.I fell asleep in London and had awesome pubcrawls in Dublin.Drove the narrow streets of the Ring of Kerry, and followed Frodos footsteps in Matamata.Watched a grizzly eating a moose carcass in the Rocky mountains.Made a boat trip on the Seine in Paris, and drank vodka with polish exchange students in Płock.I saw Tina Turner live on stage, and held the Dalai Lamas autograph in my own hands. I sang with two german Schlager singers, once on stage, the other time on the radio.I hate german Schlager!I did the scottish Whiskey trail and ate oysters at fisherman´s wharf.I saw the world´s most leaning tower, drove up the world´s steepest street, and down the most winding road. I saw the rarest and the smallest penguins in the world, and traveled the world´s newest country. Twice. Went to the most isolated sound of the world, and over the largest suspension bridge existing.I became a godmother and survived cancer when I was 29.I was my sister´s maid of honor, and best of all:I´m a lovechild!

I guess I can teach people how to become the perfect optimist.There´s nothing more helpful than believing only good things can happen. And if they do, see them! And be happy about the little things, they´re everywhere!!!And I love to learn anything that´s new. You never know enough, and there´s too many things I find interesting.And if somebody can teach me to play the guitar, I´d be overexcited!!!
