Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to eat all the foods of the world - especially cheese!!
ABOUT ME
I love all things sporty, sparkly and tasty! I have been spending my winters snowboarding, and my summers travelling around Japan, now I'm looking forward to travelling to pastures new and meeting people!
PHILOSOPHY
In a world where scaremongering and hype is rife in politics and the media would have you believe you are in a state of constant mortal peril I still believe the average bloke/lady you meet on street is usually a good person. Couchsurfing is a good way to see the world and meet decent people - what more could you want?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
There's usually a few coins dropped down the back of any couch - might aswell go claim them all! ;)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm pretty new to this!
Interests
I play Judo, Ice hockey and Snowboard, and I really like white wine spritzers! But on a deeper note I also enjoy reading Japanese novels and watching British comedies!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm currently loving The Mighty Boosh and (though I'm shamed to admit this) Hell's Kitchen with Gordon Ramsey - highbrow it isn't!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumped around on an Iceberg off the coast of Japan, had my image made into a 10 by 15 metre collage made of 1cm squared coloured paper(seriosly), seen an Ainu fire festival. Played street football at 3am with the Indian national football (or so they claimed) team whilst at a street party in Cambodia. Represented Great Britain at Judo in numerous international tournaments, got beaten in numerous international tournaments, was subjected to electrocution acupunture on my knee , the list goes on - life here seems to throw up something interesting pretty regularly.
Teach, Learn, Share
When teaching 15 -18 year olds never ever draw anything on the board that could be misconstrued as something rude. Apparantly that also includes the map of Britain (I will never truly understand the mind of the Japanese teenage boy)
