ABOUT ME

I like to go out, meet new people, see new places, and try new things. I love people and I believe everyone is inherently good. Since I finished my undergrad degree in 2009, I've traveled a bunch, lived in a bunch of amazing cities with a bunch of amazing people, and had a bunch of odd jobs - mostly social justice related. Now, I'm waiting to hear back from grad schools about getting my teaching credential and Masters so that I can teach kids about social justice too! I am passionate about music of all kinds, I love singing jazz, dabbling with guitar, piano, and bass, and learning new instruments. I'm getting more and more into dance as well, and I now swing, salsa, and I'm trying to learn to hip hop and breakdance too! I'm vegetarian but I don't expect others to be. I studied languages in university, and I think the ways we communicate with each other are super interesting. I usually enjoy being outdoors, but I also appreciate a nice warm couch and a good book or movie. I would love to learn from you!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I signed on because I've met some great people couchsurfing with friends and I want that to be me! I hosted some couchsurfers and it was a great experience, now I want to surf myself.

Interests

People make me happy. Beautiful days and trees make me happy. Music makes me happy. Dancing makes me happy. Reading and learning and speaking new languages makes me happy. Being happy makes me happy!

I sing and play guitar, and would love to jam. I do some rock climbing and technical climbing as well and want to help you learn! I'm attempting to put my knowledge of universal grammar to use by learning every language ever, can you help?! I'm also a certified English teacher, if you need any help in that department :)
