Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Best way to dive into the culture of any given country.
I love the backpacking-style of traveling, although, I have to admit, due to my age, it will be nice to sleep in a real comfy bed from time to time :-)

climbing the ruins of Tikal (Guatemala) and Machu Picchu (Peru), enjoying the view from Cotopaxi (Ecuador), sweeping through the "Gap of Dunloe" (Ireland) with my bike when it was raining "cats and dogs", jumping out of a plane with (!) a parachute,
