ABOUT ME

I work as a technician for 2 art museums in Melbourne. I run a small art space with a group of people in the city. I make music and do various performance and publication projects with my friends. I like travelling but I don't like feeling like a tourist. In Melbourne my world is pretty much between Northcote and the City. I'm usually pretty busy but always make some time to hang out and make food, drink, swap hilarious anecdotes. I live with my friend Kathy in a 3 bedroom house. Its not incredibly tidy. I have a pleasant phone manner. No dietary preference besides not eating disgusting food. Smoking sometimes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a good houseguest and probably a good host. I sleep on your couch, you sleep on mine. I cook you food, tell you stuff I think is good around town. I like to travel and the idea of staying with a local and making a friend seems so much better than staying in a hotel. Its a good exchange to host or be hosted.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Done plenty of couch surfing over the years but I am new to this site. Done a little travelling outside Australia, sometimes involving couches. Lived in the UK and Germany. I've also travelled New Zealand, Fiji, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Finland, Belgium, Ireland, Czech, Romania, Switzerland, Holland, US, Peru.. that's about it.

兴趣

The usual: other people, music, art, food, caffeine, sleep, talking to cats or dogs, comfortable footwear, reading stupid things on the internet, the ocean, the sun, various other things.

Recently watched movies: Enter the Void, Trash Humpers, Visitor Q, The Last Wave, Wake in Fright. Favourite all time movie is Ghostbusters or maybe Evil Dead 2. I like Philip K Dick, Ballard, Burroughs trash, but mostly I don't read novels.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Snorkelling in Fiji. I saw a shark and lost and lots of colourful fish. Or a long summer on Lake Macquarie where I swim and stare at the sunset for days in a row and feel truly at peace.
