CURRENT MISSION

Exploring new ways of working in the German-Danish cross-border region! I work at the Hansemuseum, a modern museum telling about the Hanse league of merchants. In addition, I give lessons in Danish. I work as a Greeter, showing places in Lübeck to visitors.

ABOUT ME

Open-minded woman who loves travelling, more to meet people and take in the atmosphere than to visit tourist sites.
Have worked in other European countries and language skills enable me to 'talk to the locals'.
Enjoy meeting people from other countries, and I often go to Hamburg to get the international flair.
I iike a cycling up to the sea in Summer and use my bicycle for transport in Lübeck and surroundings.
The reason for moving to Lübeck was the rich cultural life here, for instance many music events of all kinds.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Quite a bit, not least as a host, but I've also stayed with CS hosts myself in France, Belgium, Germany, Turkey and Denmark. In Tunesia and Turkey I met up with some local CSs, another nice way to hear about local life.
I was also a member of Servas, a similar organisation, for about six years.
Previously, I have swopped appartment during holidays.
