我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

When I was 19-24 I really looked forward for meeting new friends and learn their culture, cuz I leaved abroad since 16. But also I was not financially stable back then when I used couchsurfing at first, and I always honestly mentioned that in my profile. But now, after 8 years, when I’m married and stable, I just feel like the older we get the more it is actually difficult to meet new friends or to meet locals when you go abroad, especially after corona. So hopefully couchsurfing can be a good opportunity for creating new bonds. (as I can’t use Tinder anymore since I’m married 😂)

Recently.. I plan to create a small tour guide in Seoul about local cafes and restaurants. So me and my husband visit a new cafe almost every 3 days and I save them in my cafe/restaurant map. Very interested in finding places only local knows.

Any sort of music, if it’s good.(especially hiphop, pop,jazz,folk).
My favorite books are from russian literature like: The master and Margarita ; Dead Souls; Crime and Punishment(a bit dark but deep stuff) .
My favorite movie is: too many.. so that you know I am a film major graduate. I love old movies like: God Father or Purple Fiction, also something like Dune or Fast and Furious from recents. Currently waiting for Furiosa…Can talk forever about movies.

If I look back now, I am still amazed how I traveled alone in South Korea and Japan for 2 months when I was 19. Very brave of me. 😀

I really wish to meet up and can even introduce you my friends :)! I am a shy style, but at the same time I am that person who brings people all together. We can share stories, memories, board games? My favorite thing is just sharing the time, cuz it’s most precious what we possess.
As for staying at someone's, I learned it’s important to mention ok” and donts” from the beginning so there are no misunderstandings. I really believe that all people are the same, the only thing that divides us is culture and language. So hope we all respect each other’s culture and even share it with each other. If we can share something more deep like philosophy, language or history, we could have even deeper discussion. I am open to all of these.
