Hi everybody, I'm Sofia, I'm 27 years old and I’m an Architect from University of Buenos Aires. I’m a kind person, sociable and really sympathetic. I enjoy sharing a Mate or a conversation with people that I´ve just met and I love the cultural exchange that we are able to experience when we travel to different cities.
If you don’t know what Mate is, it’s a kind of tea and if you want to try, obviously my boyfriend and I can share our mate.

I love to travel a lot and I have traveled alone, with friends and currently I’m going to travel with my boyfriend (Nicolás) to Europe.
Nowadays I'm working as a project manager in the construction of three different buildings in Buenos Aires and my boyfriend works as a developer in a company.

I have 3 dogs in my house in Buenos Aires, they are so important to me and I love spending time with them. In fact, I love animals and because of that I'm vegan.

Talking about my hobbies I’ve been doing crossfit for 6 years and in my free time I paint with oil painting and watercolor techniques.

I love design and I’m a web designer too. When I travel I visit a lot of museums to discover different artists around the world and to understand how they see reality.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in Couchsurfing because when I travel I want to understand and fond out about the things that people do or how people live in their countries and their culture.
In my opinion Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to have an experience discovering a city from the point of view of native people and I think that these experiences are better than visiting a city like a simple tourist.

Music, Movies, and Books

About music I love a lot of genres but I prefer artists like Coldplay, John Mayer, Queen, Drake and The Weekend. I like rock music too like Soda Stereo, Callejeros, Los piojos, all of them from Argentina.

My favorite movie is Notting Hill. I saw this movie a lot of times, maybe 15 or 20 times hahaha. Also I love movies like Inception, Shutter Island, and Meet Joe Black.

Reading is one of my best hobbies, in general I prefer romantic novels and science-fiction novels and two of my favorite books are: The Analyst (John Katzenbach) and The long flight home (Alan Hlad). Currently, I'm obsessed with the Bridgerton series from Julia Quinn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I declared my love to my boyfriend on Christmas Day. If you want to know more we should meet and I will tell you this anecdote.
