Hi! My name is Sofia ソフィア, I'm 24 years old and I'm from Chile, I was a College Student, but now I'm taking some time off to explore the world, that has always been my dream. I have been working as a barista for 2 years now. Next year I'm planning my dream adventure, I'm going to Japan! That's why I have been learning japanese for months, I'm very excited to explore this beautiful country and make new friends.

I'm in couchsurfing because I think it is the best way to expirence the true way of living in a different country, meeting new people, making friends and collecting memories for life.

Interests

I love to travel, I have had the opportunity to travel around the world, and I want to keep exploring. I also love learning and speaking different languages, I like to practice my English and try my best with japanese, I have taught English before, and I really enjoy it, so teaching is something I like to do too. Since I was a kid, I have been fascinated with food. I'm a really good cook, and I like to try to improve my skills and try new flavors. In my free time usually go for walks and explore the city, o maybe go to a cafe and read a good book.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music in general, so I'm open to listing different musicians. I have always been an active reader. My favorite books are peoples life experiences. I like to watch movies too, and know all about the details of them. I mostly watch films from different countries, not only from Hollywood, I'll go to the cinema at least once or twice a month.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Something incredible I have done is backpacking in Peru, I got to see Machupichu, one of e seven wonders of the world. I have also done some surfing.
