British–Algerian, 30s, mum of two (they’re older now). I rebuilt my life after a turbulent twenties, and it left me with a lot of wisdom, humour, and gratitude. I’m well-travelled and love real conversation about food, culture, fairness, health/mental well-being, and community. Humanitarian at heart.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I use Couchsurfing to connect with locals, swap stories, and experience places from the inside. I’ve had only positive experiences — hosts who picked me up from bus/train stations, took me out for dinner, showed me hidden gems, and offered beautiful spaces to stay in. Always safe, respectful, and warm.

I value this mutual respect and love giving back to hosts — whether that’s sharing a meal, good conversation, or helping in small ways. I’m tidy, adaptable, and easy to have around. The people I connect with through CS are the highlight of my travels.

Next trip (help wanted!)
I’m planning Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt from 26 December (cheaper flight that day from London) and returning before 9 January. I’d love a host — even for enough time to allow me to me comfortable and go off nd do what I do best books, reading, camera, socialising, planning, snorkelling, — to land softly, get local tips for beaches/food/snorkelling, and share culture. If you’re around Sharm (or nearby like Dahab) and open to hosting or meeting for tea, I’d love to connect.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been to an island where 700 people lived inside - ZERUMA ISLANDS OKINAWA, JAPAN
Hung out with locals in Negril Jamaica, ate plantain fresh from the island, went to local hang outs, ate sugar cane!
