ABOUT ME

Sofia is my namne, I'm a 28 year old Swedish-speaking Finn and you will find me on the westcoast of Finland.

I work as a nurse and I love it. Madly in love with my boyfriend. Allergic to time spent in an ineffetive way and can't think of any reason why not to enjoy life to it's fullest.

Social and open-minded. Both feet on the ground. Enjoys a good laugh. Find it easy to see life from a positive point of view. Can enjoy both discussions and silence. Easy to get along with.

More than happy to get to know new people, especially from other cultures. Always been interested in the wide world, even though I haven't seen so much of it (yet).

PHILOSOPHY

Well, as I already said;
"If you wanna make the world a better place,
take a look at yourself and then make a change."

I believe that everyone should have the right to do anything they want as long as it's not hurting anyone else. And I also believe that what comes around goes around. Which in my world means that you should treat others the way you yourself want to be treated.

Might sounds like clichés, but never the less, that's my main opinions.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this point I'm interested in housting other couchsurfers.

Also very interested in activities of different kind in my area.

Hopefully I will get the chance to couchsurf myself some day in a near future. Still to be seen.

Not very interested in online-friendship only. But hosting and friendship in real life, yes :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, so far. Still reading the beginners guide.

Interessen

Excercising, mostly kettlebell and running.

I also enjoy the company of friends, just socializing or going out drinking.

Philosophizing in form of deep discussions about any interesting subject is always welcome.

Travelling and getting to know other cultures is performed whenever my bank-account and my schedule says so.

Might also be cooking or watching movies.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Among many other things...

In the beginning of 2012 I stayed in Ghana (West-Africa) for two months as a volounteer in a hospital and in a health care center.

Words can not describe the experience of seeing what it's like to live and work in a environment with far less resources than what you are normally used to. And aswell seeing people with great happiness and faith although great poorness was an awakening.

A very beneficial experience that everyone should try!
