Hi! My name is Sofía Alemán. I live in Tenerife, Canary Islands and I'm 22. Currently, I'm finishing Fine Arts at the ULL (University of La Laguna), here, in Tenerife. Last year, I did an Erasmus+ (exchange) to Manchester.
As I'm studying Arts, I'm really interested in Contemporary Art. I choose the 'Multidisciplinary' course, so I have experimented with a lot of languages as painting, photography, artistic foundry, videoart, instalation, performances...

I love roller skating. I used to play Roller Derby with my local team. I also like going to the skatepark with some friends and learning tricks at the ramps. I'm part of the Chicks in Bowls movement.

I love going to fanzine fairs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in Couchsurfing because I think it's an amazing way to experiment traveling. Knowing local people at the country you visit is maybe the most interesting part of the travel.
I'm doing an Interrail route this summer with my partner, and it will be the first time I'll be moving through Europe. We'd love to meet people that can show as arround, and it could be amazing finding somewhere to stay somedays.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Unfortunately, I'm still living with my parents in Tenerife, so I can't offer a couch to stay. But if you are coming to Santa Cruz de Tenerife or to La Laguna, feel free to contact me, so I can recommend you some beaches, routes through Anaga or good and cheap places to have lunch.
