I'm Sofie and I'm a freelance writer and travel blogger. When I'm not traveling the world, exploring my home country Belgium or glued to my laptop, you can usually find me in a dance studio. I don't function without tea or coffee and am crazy about chocolate.

Through Couchsurfing I'm hoping to connect with people from all over the world who are willing to show me around their city and take me to places you can't easily find in guidebooks or online. I'd love to learn about abandoned sites, small boutiques, cool cafes and anything else that makes your city or town special. Will I write about these things? Yes, as I want to introduce my readers to lifestyles, cultures and interesting stuff worldwide.

I also want to learn about your city for a personal reason. I've been living in Belgium my entire life and my blog focuses heavily on Belgium as well. I'm on a quest to find out whether this is really the country I should be living in - What makes it great? What doesn't? - or if there's somewhere else that would suit me better.
