ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Sofie.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed my way through England last spring. As soon as I get some doors fixed to the doorframes of my tiny flat, I'd love to host, too.
Interests
I like stories in all forms, written, sung, spoken... I find travelling to be a good way of hearing new stories.
I also quite like drawing, cooking, walking about, playing music, watching others play music, and studying maps and timetables and planning (sometimes fictional) travels.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like Nick Hornby for his ability to write straightforward well-narrated stories. 'High Fidelity', especially. I read poetry, too. Lately I have read (and liked) 'Darling River' by Sara Stridsberg, some Dostojevskij, and 'Water for elephants' (running of with an oldschool circus... dream scenario. What's not to love?). Icelandic Sjón is another favourite of mine.
Tastes in music include nearly everything by Damon Albarn,I believe Danger Mouse to be pure genious, I like guitars and bass guitars and singers with deep voices. Beck, Agnes Obel, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jan Johansson, Little Dragon, John Cale. Much more...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once spent three months in the Swedish woods, watching summer fade to autumn with water from a well and a forest full of berries and wild mushrooms. That was kind of amazing.
