ABOUT ME

We are a happy, lively and open minded couple, who live together in a small, cozy apartment in the center of Aarhus.

At the moment we are both studying, so a lot of time is spent day dreaming. Food, music, experiencing and traveling the world when we can find the time and financials.

We love to cook, read about food and gastronomy, taste and discover all kinds of dishes.

We appreciate a good laugh, talking and relaxing with friends.

With CS we hope to meet a lot of new people, who will open their home for us and show us what they believe is noteworthy and essential from their point of view.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would like to host travelers who are thinking of experiencing the life and atmosphere of Aarhus, and we will do our best trying to make you feel welcome. Our couch is situated in our living room and is ready for guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I, Sofie, had a incredibly optimistic experience with CS in Volgograd, Russia, and therefore we decided trying the same with our home in Aarhus, and that's why we joined the CS community.

In Volgograd I learned a lot about Russia from the point of view of the russian university educated youth, which was a real eye opener. I met a group of friends who showed me and a friend around in the historic remnants from the war. But we were also invited to their individual homes, given traditional dinner and discussed differences between the east and the west. A truly warm experience.

Interests

For us, the good life means:
Traveling and experiencing other people and their culture.
Food and drinks. We love coffee, wine and great food.
Music. We mostly listen to rock music, but enjoy most types of music.
The art of hygge is essential. Seriously, look it up!
