About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Cherish Yesterday, Dream Tomorrow, Live Today

ABOUT ME

From the UK originally and have spent most of my time in Edinburgh but am now living in Wellington. I have been a traveller at heart since I can remember. I love to travel! I enjoy the freedom and experiences travel offers. I love to learn about the people of each country I visit, and what their lifestyle is all about. I like to learn about different cultures through the food, the passion, hopes and dreams of the people, and their family life and see what€™s around the next corner. But while I like moving I prefer to stop in one place and get to know it, I don't really enjoy being a tourist so much.

I love good conversation, thinking, reading, exploring and adrenaline. I love having my mind and perspective challenged. I believe life is short, and we need to get to doing what we were created for, enjoying the ride as it happens - even the rough stuff. I love being crazy and doing things a bit out of the normal.

I love people who see the world just a little bit differently, who don't want to accept the well payed job, family and nice house as the Golden Ticket of life, but who endeavour to create their own path, living an existence with passion and acceptance of others.

PHILOSOPHY

'Don't take life too seriously, you'll never get out alive'
-Buggs Bunny

Good things happen to good people, everything happens for a reason, Don't pass through places, let them pass through you

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Spread the word! People are so sceptical but only by building trust and sharing information about things like couch surfing will it grow

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never actually coach surfed but more have ended up randomly meeting people, staying at their house and them recommending CS to me, so 4 years later I’m signed up.
