Hi! I’m Alp Çağrı, originally from Turkey, now living in the Netherlands. I’m an energy professional with a deep interest in how things work – from power plants to people. I love discovering the stories behind cities, cultures, and individuals.

I’m passionate about meaningful conversations, spontaneous adventures, and quiet walks with my dog Ozzy. I’m also a proud dad of a baby girl, which has added a whole new dimension of joy and perspective to my life.

In the past few years, I’ve worked both in control rooms and on the field at energy facilities. Now, I’m also exploring side projects like home repairs, couch cleaning, and DIY electronics. I enjoy learning languages (working on my Dutch!), and I have a soft spot for “The Little Prince” and poetic storytelling.

When I travel, I don’t look for fancy things – I look for authentic experiences, kind people, and genuine conversations. I believe Couchsurfing isn’t just about a place to stay – it’s about shared moments, unexpected insights, and maybe a good laugh over coffee or tea.
