Heyy!! I'm 20 years old studying Nutrition and Dietetic in Turkey. But right now since September I'm doing erasmus in Porto. Staying here in Porto for almost a year has changed me in a lot of ways and made me realize that how much you can enjoy your life more while you're experiencing new things, meeting with new people and new cultures. It made me realize that if they asked me what I would want to do for the rest of my life I'd say that I'd want to travel all around the world, both for me and for my education. I would like to think that I'm an easy going, fun person, and I like to communicate with people without thinking 'what would they think of me?' Because life is just too short to think about those kind of things and we all just should enjoy it in every possible way. I like to swim, since I have been living nearby the ocean in Porto one day I'd like to learn how to surf.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Because it's the easiest way to connect with locals and learn about the local foods, local history and usually because they are local they always know great tips about the places, like where we can eat the cheapest but a good meal, or where we can find some good pub, good beer, good wine. Also I like to hear what they have experienced with the people they have host, I think it's very nice to hear stories from people all around the world and I like to share the stories I have had and memories I have created. And mostly because of that moment you realize that you're in a complete stranger place, you don't know anywhere or anything, but somehow, you're not alone and you feel like you're home because of the nice people you have met and hosted you. It's always amazes me to see that there are still nice and kind people out there who's willing to share without expecting anything.
