Hello. I'm Sohyun Park from South Korea. I grew up in Seoul all my life.
I love travelling. I have travelled Japan, Laos and Thailand, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, New Zealand, Australia and the United States. Also, I have taken part in a cross-country trip in South Korea!
Also, I enjoy cycling. I'm planning to travel some of the cities by bicycle.
I am studying in Technical University of Munich from October through exchange student program for 6 months. During the period, I am planning to travel all around Europe.
Italy is my first spot. I'm extremely looking forward to it. I'm now watching some documentaries about Roman history to understand thoroughly about the historical sites. I'm also reading some books about Renaissance to understand Firenze's art pieces.
I'm ready to share my stories with you and listen to your lifestories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love being in a new culture and making international friends!
When I was 13 years old, I homestayed in a Kiwi family's house for three months. The family treated me as their daughter. It was one of the sweetest experience in my life. I still keep and touch with them.
I'm on couchsurfing because I'd like to have that kinds of warm experiences in my life and let my guests feel at home when they are with me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- When I was 18 yrs old, I participated in a cross- country trip in South Korea. I walked 620km for 21 days.
- When I was in high school I studied more than 12 hours a day for 3 years.
- I can use sign languages. I can communicate freely with deaf people.

- I have taken pictures with Quokka in Australia's Rottnest island. They are the cutest animals I've ever met.

I can cook delicious Asian meals in a way that suits European's taste.
I can write your and your families'/ friends' name in beautiful Korean handwriting, and teach you how to write your names in Korean.
