About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience life to the fullest; learn about and become emersed in new cultures, meet new people and make global connections.
ABOUT ME
I'm an easy going guy that is always open to new experiences and adventures. Being spontaneous is something I strive for in my everyday life... Sometimes it gets me in trouble but it usually makes for good fun!
PHILOSOPHY
Live without dead time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've always been so grateful for the open arms and helpful locals that I've met on my travels and am eager to return the good karma to anyone who's looking for a taste of life.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
On a trip through Australia a friend and I went completely broke. We were lucky enough to meet a couple at a pub that took us in and made it possible to stay abroad for a couple of extra weeks. Amazing people w/ huge hearts. Ever since that experience I've always tried to be as hospitable as possible to travelers that I encounter.
Interests
Pretty much anything that has to do with being in the sun and kickin' it with good friends, ie: snowboarding, wakeboarding, illin' at the beach, cycling, hiking, diving (preferably in tropical waters), pool halls, art, bars, good books, pottery, fish tanks, music, cooking, traveling (completely addicted), concerts, people watching...etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
Im quite a movie buff...especially indie films. All about Monty Python (all of 'em...love it!), Amores Peros, Motorcycle Diaries, The Life Aquatic, David Lynch movies, Quentin Tarantino films, any movie with Will Ferrel in it, and any other solid film or documentary...
I'm down with most indi and underground music with a conscious message. Especially dig hip hop, reggae, folk, punk, and funk.
Currently reading Affluenza. Much respect for Charles Bukowski, Ernest Hemingway, Edward Said, George Orwell, Paulo Coelho, Kahlil Gibran, David Sedaris, John Steinbeck, Aldous Huxley, Hunter S. Thompson, Daniel Quinn, Eckhart Tolle, Dan Brown, Arundhati Roy, John Perkins, Herman Hess, Kalle Lasn, and Edgar Allen Poe. Well done folks.
