Hello! My name is Soko. I'm a traveler, storyteller, artist, and documentarian from Canada.

I love learning about arts, culture, health & wellness, nature and most of all... learning about people. :)

I've been on the road for the past three months, mostly volunteering with eco and arts organizations.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

My favourite part of traveling is when I've been in one city long enough to really get a feel for the culture and the people. I usually skip on most of the typical sightseeing highlights, and opt to visit a live music show at the corner bar or connect with local artists.

I love seeing a place through the eyes of someone who experiences it in a different way ...and I look forward to hosting when I get home, so I can do the same for others.

All in all, I've been inspired by other people's stories on couchsurfing, so I thought I'd give it a try.
