I am a small, fit, excited, language and outdoor enthusiast from New Zealand. I love skiing, surfing, cycling, and climbing and i am hoping to learn kite surfing this year woohoo.

I am currently a freshly graduated high school teacher teaching spanish, german and social studies. Teaching is truly wonderful, bringing together skills such as relationship building, organisation, group management and excitement into an hour long lesson. Although I am not a perfect teacher I am sure learning to become one.

People are also very important to me, I am very social and love hearing stories over a good meal or a beer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am coming to Bristol to be a teacher, and I am doing a bit of pre travel. I want to experience travel through a local way and understand the true life of a person from that country not just behind hotel walls.

my favourite musical artist is the cat empire, I love light house, dirty dubstep, and funky jazz. I think music can change your mood and brighten your day so I indulge daily. my favourite film is the 'matrix' or 'ex machina' and the last book I read was 'rich dad poor dad' i don't know if it has changed my perspective on money but if definitely made me think.
