Hi! During my travels I'd like to meet local people and chat over a drink and / or visiting the city. . I don't mind if you can't host me! I mostly prefer to meet up to have a drink! :)

I am a calm person and quite optimistic :) ...

I am French (born and half grew up in an oversea french territory in south america). French is my mother tongue, and i have also very good skills in Italian, and a pretty good understanding of spanish.

I've just completed my phd ....and now I can enjoy life :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy this good opportunity to meet people, discover the way they live and cultural habits. People are more important than places visited. We can meet up to have a drink. I like the CS spirit :)

Music: Currently I am listening to "Lo-Fang" and I really enjoy. I do enjoy acoustic music..

Books, newspapers, etc.. always. My favorite one is "The Business of Living" (Il mestiere di vivere/ "Le métier de vivre") from Cesare Pavese.

Movies:
- El segreto de sus ojos: beautiful allegory of justice (impotence of "public justice" and efficiency of "private justice");
- Inglorious Basters: but only regarding the concept of "alternate History"/"Uchronia";
- La merditude des choses: social misery
- Mio fratello è figlio unico (storia politica dell'Italia)
I like italian movies (and my favorite are movies of Dino Risi, such as "Una vita difficile": many historical references with humor).
