ABOUT ME

My name is Solomon. I have finished schooling to work in the compassion field, now I'm wandering the nation trying to find a place to make a new life for myself.

I enjoy discussion, philosophy, history, politics, poetry, jokes and stories and songs. I love running, bicycles and adventures.

I am friendly, usually fairly excited, polite, CPR/First Aid certified, and widely considered an asset to any gathering.

PHILOSOPHY

Lives should invigorate and inspire, minds should be free and courageous, bodies should be healthy and strong.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When not hosting or being hosted, I try to participate in the CouchSurfing project by smiling at strangers and talking with them when they seem inclined.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friends and I hosted many couch surfers in the Niagara Region and I have enjoyed many positive couch surfing experiences in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. Nothing in Victoria though... what the heck?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode with a First Nations nish bicycle team from Manitoulin Island to Winnipeg. Ontario is made of long, steep hills, and when you're traveling with Natives, you can camp on the side of sacred mountains.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an accomplished digger. Mattock, shovel, trowel, excavator... If there's not a hole there, I can dig one.

I know a lot about providing personal care to those unable to individually attend to their activities of daily living.

I know how to run marathons and a thing or two about world cultures.
