Hi, I am Solange,
born 32 years ago in Madrid, learned to walk in France, grew up in the Netherlands, and then decided to study and stay in Belgium. So I never know how to reply when people ask me where I'm from :)

I'm a solo traveller, love to meet new people, and going on adventures!

I am a creative, optimistic and openminded person, if I may say so myself. I love sports (I practice field hockey, snowboarding and when I have any time left: climbing)

I love to travel, and am thinking of ways to travel more and more.

I will be travelling to New Zealand in October 2016, for three months. And I will be wwooffing there for one month.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling, but sometimes it's hard to meet new people when travelling solo. I love to chat, meet and have a drink with people, just listening to their stories and getting inspired.

Interests

I love visiting musea, drawing and painting. I love sports and going on adventures. I love good food (who doesn't!) and a good drink with it. And ofcourse, meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I would love to share my spotify lists with you, as there is just too much music I love to start listing them here.

I read a lot, but mostly Dutch and Belgian writers, as well as Scandinavian writers like Marianne Frederiksson and Jón Kalman Stefánsson. (Love Gabriel Garcia Marques as well)

I'm also a movie lover, and I love to watch 'arthouse' or 'indie' movies, as well as an occassional Hollywood Blockbuster. My favourites I watched in 2016 until now are 'Youth' by Paolo Sorrentino, 'Rams' by Grímur Hákonarson and 'The Revenant' by Iñárritu.

I can make you breakfast and/or dinner. I can help with lot's of stuff, I can give you honest opinions if you want :) And if you need someone for a creative project, I'd love to brainstorm and create it with you :)
Also I can tell you some things about wwooffing, as I have been wwooffing in Norway, and will be in New Zealand end of this year.
