I'm curious about most things, my #1 hated question is 'Why did you become a vegetarian?' (followed by 'What do you plan on doing once you graduate?') and I absolutely love falling into peculiar, spontaneous adventures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet interesting people and to enjoy the beautiful brevity of these kinds of interactions.
Writing- especially creating multimedia poetry, reading, music, art... the usual stuff.
Music, Movies, and Books
With music it's a continuous cycle of adding and recycling, but these days I'm smashing the new Tame Impala album. I've also been listening to Rilo Kiley, Courtney Barnett and Dr Dre. I love most genres but I'd say psychedelic rock is my number one.
There are so many incredible movies out there! I tend to love art house films but actually anything that isn't too sad, I'll watch.
Jonathan Safran Foer is my favourite author, but these days I've been reading a bit of Murakami (and am so hypnotized, I plan on finding and reading all of his stories). I also recently read Middlesex and Beatrice and Virgil, both of which I loved a lot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in Iceland for nine months and exploring the hot streams and underground caves. Hiking two of the world's top hikes- Thorsmork and Tongariro. Participating in a food and goods distribution in Indonesia.
Countless memories, all so amazing!
