ABOUT US

I live with my wife Anita in Budapest. Languages, international people and other cultures have always played a key role in our lives and we do enjoy socialising and meeting new people and are interested in other cultures.

Anita speaks English and French fluently, I myself speak English and I am an intermediate language learner of Swedish.

We both have experience in living abroad, I used to live in the UK whereas my wife had spent some time in Canada.

I used to participate in the daily life of a local community in my hometown. (established for foreigners, travelers and locals who are open to other cultures) We organised trips, special events for them and I also tried to guide and help them if they were in need of anything.

Also, I participated in an EVS project ( European Voluntary Service ) and worked with youth people in Austria. I organised different sport activities in a vibrant youth centre.

I do believe all the foreign experiences shaped me who I am today and helped me to become more open - minded as well as broadened my horizon in terms of the world.

Because we firmly feel that it is one of the best ways for cultural exchange. Besides that it is very exciting to get to know the place through some one's perspective who is actually local or lives there.

From our host point of view, it is interesting to introduce the city and the country where we live and because of the community and volunteer spirit that we feel when help travellers with accommodation, hints and tips.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music means a lot to us, it's a way to express yourself. We both like jazz, deep house, classic hip-hop, bossa nova and trip-hop music. Anita is more keen on dance oriented/pop music and electro swing. Whereas I'd describe myself as a deep electronic music lover. I'm into instrumental/ambient, minimal/dub techno, Also, I like heavy beats and deep basslines such as jungle and drum and bass. Sometimes I listen to alternative rock, reggae and ethno music if I'm in the mood.

Anita is a big fond of movies, science fictions, comedies, fantasy, thriller. It is definitely one of the endless topics you can talk about with her. :-)
