I'm Solène originally from Annecy (France).

To describe myself a little, I love dancing, hiking, walking, have some drinks (coffee/tea or alcohol according to my mood). I’m pretty easy going, respectful, reliable and communicative.
I love connecting with people and love sharing moments with them (a meal, a drink, a walk, a movie, a game, a party, etc.) while respecting privacy and alone time if needed.

I am a psychologist (specialized in Social Health). I love my job despite the lack of human and financial resources in the public system. If you’re a worker related to social or health’s services, with pleasure to discuss about our best absurd anecdotes of institutional dysfunctions 🥲

I started a journey of about two years (Well, until the money runs out haha) to take some time, enjoy myself and others. I began with South Korea, Japan, New Zealand one year, Samoa, Vietnam, Hong Kong and here I am in Taiwan.

I love travelling and meeting other people from different countries with different stories to tell. I love connecting with people and listening to their experiences of life.

Couchsurfing gives you the opportunity to really get to known the city, its insider places and mainly its people thanks to a local person.

I haven't had the opportunity to host yet but I want to do it back in France. Returning the experiences that I have been given on so many occasions. I'm looking forward to that moment when I will settle down.

I did Couchsurfing a lot before (9-10 years ago, time flies) and I loved it. This new journey is the opportunity to do it again. So here I am :)

Sharing a good time together and a friendly talk (and share/hear from some unexpected anecdotes from travels or daily life).

I love sharing activities with people, whatever this activity is, I am a curious person. It can be also understood as daily activities : a meal, a drink, a movie, a card game, a party, etc.
And if you have a passion or a hobby, it would be so nice to discover it!

I like cooking so I can cook for you or together! Not the best cook, not the worst either : don’t expect too much, I would say an average level haha.
(Pro tip : for good crêpes, the real secret is to put orange blossom extract in the dough. It’s a gift)
