Let's begin with a little introduction of ourselves

Solène : I just finished my communication school in Paris. I've done my last internship in an association, Emmaüs, who try to stop the social exclusion in France.

Mathilde : Like Solène, I finished my school but it was in humanitarian development. With my studies, I've been in associations in France, Asia and Africa.

The story of this trip began around a good glass of red wine (good french cliché). We realized that we know each other since more than 10 years. To celebrate this "birthday", we decided to travel together... During five month in all the New Zealand

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We arrived at the end of January in New Zealand for almost 5 months. The spirit of our trip it's to show how you can travel, meet people, enjoy landscapes and everything, when you're young. We are both interested in new ecological alternatives and human initiative such as couchsurfing. We think travelling is about sharing and meeting people. We can't imagine being in a country without living with the locals. For that, we are travelling in different way : hitch-hiking, couchsurfing, camping and so one. We enjoy outdoors activities and we think New Zealand offers so many opportunities to accomplish that.

Our project is to travel and discover ecological alternatives around the world. Naturally, our choice fell on New Zealand which seems to be a country with many citizen alternatives.

We love couchsurfing because it's for us the best way to meet people, to share our experience, our way of living and to travel. We would love to meet you soon !
