I actually recently decided to take a year off from school to focus on myself, save up, and of course, travel a bit. I'm really interested in meeting new people and just listening to stories- probably explains why I'm gearing towards the psychology field. I think the key element of any epic adventure revolves around the people you meet along the way. Everyone has a unique story. I love going out and just being outside or with friends, but can easily be content at home, listening to Billy Joel on vinyl. I recently began meditating and writing, so that's new. In general, I always like to remind myself to be open-minded and aware.

Also, I don't know why but on couchsurfing it made my age 21 and now I can't change it , but to clarify I'm 18 years old.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I mentioned before, a part of what makes me happy is understanding people and exploring. I think traveling is beautiful in itself, but just getting to know someone and a new culture only adds to the experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I adore anything between the 1950s-1990s. Love The Doors, Bob Dylan, The Smiths, Billy Joel, The Temptations, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Who, The Kinks...etc to say the least. I really just like anything that sounds good!

Once Upon a Time in America (1984) is my favorite film of all time. I love watching movies, especially mafia movies. Don't ask why.

My love for books is infinite. Some good reads lately have been: Love is a Dog From Hell by Charles Bukowski, Lolita by Nobakov and On the Road by Jack Kerouac.
