I currently live in Alberta Canada but I was born in Bretagne France and I've lived there the first 17 years of my life.

I'm receiving my social work diploma this June. My plans are to promote cultural diversity and acceptance. I'm an advocate and social activist and I'm all about social justice. My passion is international social work and I hope to support the communities in need all around the world. I plan to work with refugee and immigrant groups in Canada and support them with their new life. If you speak Arabic, Spanish and/or sign language, I would love to learn a bit of it!

I'm unable at the moment to accept guests because I share a home with my roommate who is also my friend and landlord. I will be moving to Edmonton after my EuroTrip, I then hope to open my new place to guests all over the world 🌎.

So yes, I am currently planning my trip across Europe! This is my first solo backpacking trip and I am beyond excited 🤗.
My first destination is London, where I will be staying approximately 5 days. I will be arriving on the 17th of June, and I will be staying at a hostel until June 19th.

Then, I plan to visit Ireland and Scotland. I'm still unsure of where exactly I would like to go after that but if you have any suggestions I would love to know them!

My goal this summer is to meet new people and discover new places. I thought about going to more exotic destinations such as Asia or South America but I would prefer to start slow. As I have mentioned, I lived in France the first 17 years of my life. I will be visiting my family there after my month of backpacking.

In addition, I would love to learn more about the social service system in your country; how welfare and support is offered in your community/country and how the different countries and cities of Europe take care of their refugees. I would journal our discussion on that and bring it back home. I would also visit some organizations in the city. I like to experience things first hand and I love research. My goal for this is to increase my cultural competency and better understand how the social service system works around the globe, specifically when addressing refugee services.

I will also most likely bring a GoPro and some material in order to create a bit of a YouTube like video of my trip. I'm unsure of what I will end up doing with the footage in the end, but I was hoping to create a Traveling-Social Work type of blog 🌻

Other than that, I think I'm pretty fun to be around 🌞

I enjoy the nighlife and living in the moment. I try my best to enjoy the time I have at every moment possible. I like to be spontaneous but I also need and like to be organized.
