Hello! I'm Martina. I am a laid back and friendly girl. I work hard, but make sure I find time to play hard too. I live to mountain bike and travel. I like relaxed environments, good beer, live music, and cooking. I live with my husband, BJ, and our two dogs and two cats in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I host when possible, surf occasionally when traveling, and am up for meeting people or just helping them meet people if I am not available to host.

I have had a really positive experience with couchsurfing. I have hosted my share of really nice people, and stayed with some great ones too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On new years eve 2010 I skied down a mountain at midnight, on a run lit only by the moon. There were fireworks going off in the city, and you could see them from the top of the mountain, the peak across from the ski run was lit up with lights and glowing. Fireworks, full moon, lit up mountain peak, skiing, it's hard to beat that. It was -23 degrees F that night though, so that part was a little tough.
