ABOUT ME

I grew up in Tehran (Iran) with all its culture, traditions, religions, modernity and paradoxes. I have been living in Europe since 2009, and currently I am in Berlin to finish my study. I am an open-minded person who loves travelling and getting to know new people with different perspectives, believes, and ideas. I take the world as a big school where one has the chance of learning, learning, and learning.

I may can host for few nights, and I would be glad to help a traveler to find her/his way around Berlin.

I love swimming, hiking, literature, dancing salsa, and playing backgammon. Listening to good music, and watching a theater would also make me happy.

I read a lot and I am a big fan of science fiction, so Isaac Asimov is on the top of my list, as well as Ray Bradbury, and Arthur C. Clarke. On the other hand, I enjoy diving into the magical realist world designed by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

Naming movies is really difficult. If I really have to pick a few, I would say: Star Trek, The last castle, Matrix, The man from Earth, Predestination, Chicken with plums, Gladiator, and Sleeping beauty!

I do like a lot listening to the Persian music. Jazz, blues, and country are the other types of music that I like.

Being on top of Mauna Kea, in the big island of Hawai'i, is one of the most amazing places where I have been so far.

I have a mad interest for science and especially space science. I would be happy to share my knowledge with other people, and learning back from them.

I can cook Persian foods, and teach you some Persian recipes.
