I'm back in this sunny, warm and peacefully chaotic corner of Mexico and able again to meet/host future friends and the occasional weary traveler.

The idea of taking off the 'tourist' label and putting on a traveller/visitor one makes the whole concept of travelling much less industrial, much more humane, much more about learning from and valuing the experiences you come across.

Likewise, hosting people is a great antidote against money-and-time-related problems that stop you from travelling, while still getting the benefits of meeting new people and redescovering your surroundings through an outsider's eyes.

Risking it to sound like the most cliché couchsurfer, what comes to mind as my interests are travelling, hiking, having trascendental conversations with friends and strangers, learning from other people's views and experiences, cooking and trying out new food, etc.
