ABOUT ME
I guess I'm pretty lucky that I have a sweet life. I work in international education, was a teacher for 5 years in Mumbai, India and now a technology coach in Warsaw, Poland. I plan on living abroad indefinitely at this point. Ever since middle school, I have been interested in culture and languages, which is what brought me to my field and couch surfing.
PHILOSOPHY
Hmmm...
Seek balance, ask questions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Although I have been listed for over a year now, I have not participated much. As a teacher, I have a lot of vacation time, and often travel even on long weekends, meaning I rarely can share a couch. (Even though there are people staying in my apt for the summer while I travel...)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
This is still relatively new to me...Surfed in Tokyo for one night and met a nice guy for wine in Paris.
Interests
Live music, playing piano, the arts, politics/economics, reading, cycling, athletics, volleyball (beach/indoor), dancing, chillin' out.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Poisonwood Bible, The Alchemist, Namesake, God of Small Things, any cultural fiction.
Music: Just upgraded my music library (thanks to my brah) from Kings of Leon, Stereophonics, the Shins, Sondre Leche to Apples in Stereo, John Butler Trio, Badly Drawn Boy, The Bicycles and a lot more!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I did was spent the Indian holiday Holi with a group of guys in a fisherman village community near my home in Bandra, Mumbai, India. It was fun to party and be smeared with colors.
Teach, Learn, Share
My passion right now revolves around how technology makes it possible to learn and create around our personal interests.
I spent 5 years in India, so I can share some of that experience too.
