About Me

🗓️ Before sending a request, please check my calendar!

📍 I’ve lived in Sweden since November 2010 — pretty local now! I can help you with public transportation, museums, and scenic spots. Just ask a straightforward question — I appreciate honesty and directness.

😄 My sense of humour is my best friend, and I value open-minded, unpretentious people. I’m always up for a good laugh and real talk. I’m not Swedish so I won’t be your cultural guide to all things “Swedish.” Sorry to disappoint 😉

🥂 Favourite drink: Martini Asti
🌶 Paprika is a no for me!

🛁 Cleanliness matters. Showers are free here — and mandatory. I do not host guests who ignore basic hygiene.

🚫 I prefer not to host Germans (personal preference) and expect respectful communication from all.

Let’s keep things real, fun, and friendly!

🛑 I WILL NOT ACCEPT RANDOM PEOPLE FRIEND REQUESTS or messages!

2. Clean up day in Albania with other 2 expats.

Teach, Learn, Share

The word referring to a meatball was first used in a Danish cookbook in 1703. In Swedish cuisine, the history of meatballs reaches just as far back as that of coffee and stuffed cabbage rolls, as Charles XII of Sweden fell in love with them while visiting the Ottoman Empire, Turkey, in the 18th century. SWEDISH meatballs are NOT originally from Sweden, so, you know! 😂 but the IKEA is!

What I Can Share with Hosts
