About Me

CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING VISITORS.

Universe is a lonely place for very many people however we can change it if we decide to be more open to each other. Couchsurfing has this unique feature, it almost instantaneously gives us a chance to dive into someone’s world and open your world in return. It’s a great community of people who might have different lives but they share very many similar fundamental values. It’s a great place to connect, relate, make a lifelong friendship. Sometimes you meet a person on a train and happen to have a meaningful conversation, then a person gets off on their stop and you keep on traveling remembering your conversation forever. This community enables you to have such incredible lifetime memories of wonderful people from many places of our planet thus making you feel we are all one. I love traveling, meeting new people, trying new foods, discovering nature. I believe we all have the same goal - to happily discover our planet, take good care of it and be kind to each other. If I can make someone’s life journey even a tiny bit easier and there is a probability that my life can influence other person’s life and open a new prospective, a different angle of vision then the purpose is worth while💙

I’m very easy to please, so if you offer me a place to sleep, stretch my legs and take a shower it will be highly appreciated.

BEFORE ADDING ME TO YOUR FRIENDS LIST:
If I haven’t met you personally, please don’t add me. It’s adding a false sense of security for the strangers meeting up with you, and I can’t vouch for your character if I haven’t met you.

BEFORE REQUESTING A STAY:
If you have no references I will most likely not accept your stay unless you provide your active social media account along with your identification card or passport.

Communication is the most important for me, so please if you make a request to stay at my place and you want that to be a pleasant experience for everyone I would like you to communicate with me about your arrival, your daily plans and your departure day and time. I will appreciate if you do your laundry ( sheets and towels ) the day when you leave my place in a public laundromat in the neighborhood.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the best way to see a place is to spend some time with local people, listening to their life stories is truly a way to understand the place you travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All of my travels gave me amazing life experience and inspiration, however one of the most memorable travels was a trip in Arizona and New Mexico, also zip lining in the mountains in Whistler, BC was the most breathtaking experience I’ve ever had in the mountains.

Teach, Learn, Share

Couchsurfing for me is about meeting new friends, serving the community and having good company , however after reading some articles I must clarify for both hosts and surfers that neither me nor my traveling partners are interested in any kind of romantic/sexual adventurous acquaintance, neither I am interested to stay naked at your place or have you walking around my place naked. To avoid any misunderstanding I feel this is a very important thing to mention😊

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m happy to receive guests and show them around NYC, if surfers have already some plans of their own they don’t have to feel obligated to spend time with me however if they want to hang out, give a possibility to a new friendship I’m willing to go to places with them.I’m happy to help travelers to travel on a budget, I’ve been doing this long before I found out about Couchsurfing community because I believe in unconditional sharing and caring. I’m usually busy during the week but on the weekend I’m happy to have people over so they can enjoy NYC. I live just 4 small blocks from the subway. There’s also a supermarket near me, a few nice bars and my favorite Mexican restaurant. In summer ocean lovers can enjoy beach which is just 15 minutes away from me by public transportation. Surfers who arrive with their own cars must be aware street parking is available before 7 when everyone gets back home from work, otherwise looking for parking a few or many blocks away will be the only option left. Overall parking situation is very bad in NYC and I recommend using subway for all travels.NYC has it all nature, museums and theaters, restaurants of all world cuisines and vast cultural life and I feel I’d make a difference if I help others to discover one of their dream towns or just a cool place on their bucket list. I traveled a lot as a young exchange student and numerous local people in different countries helped me in all possible ways and it inspired me and now I want to pay back by helping others in their journeys.
