I host travelers when I am able to do so. I'm also gladly act as a tourist guide.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was when my fiend and I stayed at Yuji’s in Tokyo. He wasn’t even at home when we arrived but some French surfers in his apartment let us in. I was amazed how friendly they were without even knowing we were going or anything else about us.

Since then, I was hosted across California and I also hosted tourists, mostly from Germany.

Interests

I love flying, I used to hang glide. I'm planning to buy a powered harness some day. I like other sports as well, some of which I can be seen doing in my pictures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A friend of mine credits me with saving his life:

On one cold day when I was walking his dog with him, the dog ran into the flooding Danube at a steep embankment and couldn't climb out from the icy water. When my friend went after it to give help, he slipped on the wet, steep concrete embankment and found himself in the dirty water of the flooding river up to the chin. I have managed to save him by not panicking, instead maintaining a clear state of mind and quickly figuring out the right solution.
