ABOUT ME

We are a group of veteran CS hosts/flatmates in a cute flat in the "charming" SF neighborhood called SoMa. We are a communal household and we really enjoy being a part of the international community and hosting people. We've all done a bit of surfing as well.

VJ is from India, he is a software engineer working in the Bay area for a company you MIGHT have heard of. He is a world traveler & loves learning languages, water sports, world music, dancing & watching films. (He is vegetarian.)

Nik and VJ are childhood friends. Nik is a biologist who does DNA sequencing. He loves to party like a rock star, going out as often as he can & dancing the night away. He is an excellent Indian food cook! (He is not vegetarian but likes veg food.)

Hilarie is an Internet marketer/writer who is originally from Vegas & recently traveled Europe/the Caribbean & lived in Ibiza for a year. She loves music, dancing, sailing, cooking & goes to Burning Man. (She is pescatarian.)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Collectively we have hosted at least 70 people. We are all active in the San Francisco CS community. We participate in events, organize events, and host mad fun CS parties at the flat about once a month.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are interested in hosting respectful CSers who "get it." If you are new, that is OK. But if you haven't bothered to read the website thoroughly, fill out your profile and attend some CS events in your area, then please only request a couch with us after you have done those things.

Emergency couch requests are considered on a case by case basis.

Intereses

We enjoy cooking meals together, listening to many types of music from all over the world, dancing, exploring the city and meeting up with other local CSers and travelers.

We are very open minded, or else we would not live in this wonderful city. We all drink and do other things on occasion.
